Regeneration, Renewal, Resurrection

Dear Visitor

I express my sorrow for all victims of sexual assault and rape, and I understand the depths of your suffering.

Based on my own experience—and that of many others who have walked this path—there are actually effective first-aid responses to this event. Regardless of the precise circumstances of the sexual trauma that you experienced, a reasonable degree of healing is possible. My goal is to consolidate healing techniques that I and others have researched and make your path to wholeness as straightforward as possible.

We all know that when a person breaks a bone, they simply go to the emergency room to have it re-set and immobilized so the natural healing can start. With rape trauma, my experience and research has shown that various techniques in different energy medicine modalities can serve as a type of first-aid. Some techniques can be self-administered, while others require the help of a practitioner whom you can find in your area.

I'm also offering a preview version of my book on this topic (in English), Ways of Renewal: A Guidebook for Women, as a free PDF download.

The information it contains will guide you to a deeper understanding of what happened in your body and how to heal it. It contains instructions for a powerful acupuncture technique called "Clearing Aggressive Energy," which can serve as an excellent start to enable your body's systems to rebalance and clear your mind enough so that you can take the next steps on your healing path. After any sort of intense event or trauma, harmful energy remains stored in the body, and this powerful technique offers a way to reduce it. A detailed description of this technique is in the free downloadable e-book.

Also, focus your mind on regeneration and renewal. The body follows the mind. Focus your ears on music that heals and uplifts. The body follows the ears.

Unfortunately, sexual assault tends to occur more frequently in times of political unrest and social upheaval, like the times in which we’re currently living.

At age 24, I suffered a sexual assault. In the aftermath, I said to myself, “Something inside me feels broken. What is it? Something harmful has been left inside of me. What is it? If I can figure out what it is, I can figure out how to fix it.” That led me onto the path from victim to survivor to acupuncturist.

Recovery from rape trauma is not an easy path, but it is a path that others have walked before. My heartfelt wish is to place helpful and effective markers on the path for you. I also wish everyone who comes after me—the survivors as well as the practitioners of different modalities—to make it easier and better for the next survivor, until the world we all wish to see becomes reality.

You are not alone. You are loved.

Krisztina Samu, Licensed Acupuncturist
